Suzuki is a long-term supporter of Wetwheels, the charity which provides barrier-free powerboating for all disabled people, and has been the outboard supplier of choice since day one.
As part of this on-going support, staff at Suzuki GB’s head office in Milton Keynes decided to make an additional £500 cash donation to Wetwheels instead of producing and sending a corporate Christmas card in 2019.
To this end, Tony Lewis, Suzuki Marine’s Area Sales Manager for the South of England visited Wetwheels this week to present the cheque to Wetwheels founder, Geoff Holt MBE.
Upon receiving the news Geoff said, “We are extremely lucky to have partnered with Suzuki and would not trust our passengers to any other outboards. The support they have given and continue to give us is invaluable and we thoroughly enjoy working with the team at Suzuki.”
He continued, “We can’t thank them enough for this very kind gesture, which was completely unexpected.”
Mark Beeley, National Sales Manager for Suzuki GB’s Marine Division said, “We are proud to support Wetwheels and were delighted to be able to present them with the additional donation. The work they do is amazing and makes a significant difference to so many people that would not normally have access to the water and we love being a part of that.”
