Suzuki’s lightweight and compact outboards deliver plenty of performance with low-end torque, instant throttle response, smooth acceleration and fast top-end speed, whilst large diameter propellers aid low speed manoeuvrability.
Excellent fuel-efficiency and range is achieved on all of Suzuki’s electronically fuel injected outboards thanks to the Lean Burn Fuel Control technology. This intelligent solution predicts fuel needs according to operating conditions, then delivers the optimum fuel/air mixture to the engine, across the entire rev range. The resulting improvement in efficiency ultimately helps to increase commercial returns by making every drop of fuel go as far as possible.
Suzuki’s V6 family of 300-350hp outboards have a unique narrow 55-degree cylinder block and an offset drive shaft making them extremely compact and ideal for twin installations.
The top of the range ‘GEKI series’ of outboards (DF300B, DF325A and DF350A) are all built with everyday use of larger boats in mind. These are outboards that perfectly balance awesome power and thrust, with outstanding fuel-efficiency and trusted reliability all within a lightweight and stylish design.
Dual prop system – a true revolution
Suzuki’s engineers know that the lower unit shape and propeller design have a critical impact on performance. The innovative contra-rotating propeller design provides more grip underwater and also helps to achieve a smaller, and far more hydrodynamic gear case. It does this by distributing the engine’s torque evenly over two propellers, so that the torque per propeller is decreased enabling the gear diameter to be reduced.
A three-blade/three-blade propeller set up was developed to provide incredible acceleration and high performance. The propeller blade geometry is also optimised to work in this configuration, resulting in incredible grip and acceleration across the rev range. One of the most remarkable benefits is exceptional directional and transverse stability which is achieved by each propeller rotating in different directions, to deliver optimum balance when turning.

Key to any marine commercial operation is consistent reliability and ease of servicing, which Suzuki is renowned for. In addition, Suzuki has an excellent network of supporting Dealers across the UK and Ireland providing reassurance and back-up to commercial operators with a view to keeping any downtime or time off the water to a minimum.
Increased corporate and social responsibility for marine operators
In another world-first, Suzuki has enhanced its environmental credentials with the development of the world’s first micro-plastic collecting device for outboard motors
It collects micro-plastic waste from seawater that is pumped around the engine as part of its cooling system. The device can be easily installed and does not affect the engine performance since it only utilizes the returning water that has already been used to cool the engine. Currently, this innovation is available on 115hp and 140hp models.
