Powering commercial operators – Suzuki Marine returns to Seawork 2025

The Suzuki Marine GB Team at Seawork

SUZUKI RETURNS TO SEAWORK

Suzuki GB is pleased to be returning to Seawork (stand Q6, 10 – 12 June 2025), where, at the show, an exciting array of Suzuki outboard motors will be on display.

On land, examples of Suzuki’s range will be available to explore, including the DF115BTGL featuring the innovative Suzuki micro-plastics filter and the DF250AUNX ‘KURO’ with new electronic mapping and reworked air louvres, finished in a deep matt black.

In the marina, clients can test boat packages and Suzuki outboards from Suzuki’s network of Authorised Boat Builders, Dealers and partners. These include:

  • Excel Marine
  • Wolf Rock
  • Peter Leonard Marine
  • Black Dog Marine
  • Avon Marine

Why choose Suzuki?

There are many positive, business-case reasons why more and more boat builders and commercial boat operators are turning to Suzuki outboards to power their craft.

Suzuki’s lightweight and compact outboards deliver plenty of performance with low-end torque, instant throttle response, smooth acceleration and fast top-end speed, whilst large diameter propellers aid low-speed manoeuvrability.

Suzuki’s V6 family of 300-350hp outboards have a unique narrow 55-degree cylinder block and an offset drive shaft, making them extremely compact and ideal for twin installations.

Key to any marine commercial operation is consistent reliability and ease of servicing, which Suzuki is renowned for. In addition, Suzuki has an excellent network of supporting Dealers across the UK and Ireland, providing reassurance and back-up to commercial operators with a view to keeping any downtime or time off the water to a minimum.

Increased corporate & social responsibility for marine operators

In another world-first, Suzuki has enhanced its environmental credentials with the development of the world’s first micro-plastic collecting device for outboard motors

It collects micro-plastic waste from seawater that is pumped around the engine as part of its cooling system. The device can be easily installed and does not affect the engine performance since it only utilises the returning water that has already been used to cool the engine.

This innovation complements Suzuki’s existing Lean Burn technology which is on all its electronically fuel-injected outboards. The Lean Burn Fuel Control technology predicts fuel needs according to operating conditions, then delivers the optimum fuel/air mixture to the engine, across the entire rev range. This means fuel efficiency and range are increased, as well as commercial returns being maximised.

A valuable occasion

Mark Beeley, Head of ATV & Marine for Suzuki GB, said, “Speaking with our commercial customers at Seawork, and learning more about the changing needs of the commercial marine environment is an important activity in our annual calendar. We’re looking forward to the show and welcoming visitors to our stand (Q6) to talk more about how we can help them deliver their next project.”
