Suzuki excited to be back at the Southampton Boat Show

Southampton Boat Show 2021

Southampton Boat Show 2021

Suzuki GB’s Marine Division is pleased to be heading back to the Southampton Boat Show this September along with a number of its partner Dealers and Boat Builders.

Suzuki will be showcasing its range of ultimate four stroke outboards on stand E058 in Mayflower Park, with many of them also available to test in their natural environment – on the water, powering the following leading boat brands:

  • Aquaspirit RIBs
  • BRIG
  • Cobra RIBs
  • Coulam Boats
  • Island RIBs
  • Raider
  • River Boats
  • Ribcraft
  • Silver Boats
  • Smartfish 25
  • Ultimate Boat Company
  • Warrior Boats
  • Wheeleyboat Trust
  • Wetwheels

A selection of Suzuki’s Authorised Dealers and partner Boat Builders will also be exhibiting on land at the show with several leading Suzuki-powered packages, illustrating the breadth of the range and variety of applications available, including RIBs, sports boats, tenders, fishing boats, and commercial craft.

Suzuki RIB Experience

The Suzuki RIB Experience is back! In addition to its static product displays, Suzuki will also be giving show visitors the chance to get out on the water and experience one of Suzuki’s ultimate outboards in action. This will take the form of a ride on a 250hp 7.8m Ribcraft RIB operated by Solent RIB Charter. This exciting opportunity will be available to book via the Suzuki stand during the show.

Suzuki Micro-Plastics Filter

As a showcase of its commitment to tackling the problem of micro-plastics in our oceans, Suzuki will also be displaying its micro-plastics filter concept. As part of this project, Suzuki has focused on the structure of the outboard motor, which pumps up tons of seawater to cool the engine and then returns the water to the ocean.

Suzuki has developed a device which collects micro-plastic waste from the returning water. Through this device, micro-plastic waste can be collected just by running the engine. The device can be easily installed to the return hose and does not affect the engine performance since it only utilises the returning water that has already been used to cool the engine. The unit is currently on trial in the UK and can be seen fitted to a DF115A-powered BRIG Navigator 610HJ.

See you there…

Suzuki is pleased to invite all customers onto the stand (E058) to enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee, discuss requirements with Suzuki representatives and register their details for the latest news and updates.

Mark Beeley, Head of Suzuki GB’s Marine Division, said, “We are excited to be ramping up for another great Southampton Boat Show and we are proud to be supporting our network of partner Dealers and Boat Builders who are launching and displaying a wide range of market-leading Suzuki-powered packages. As ever, we are focused on giving customers the ultimate experience on the water and to this end we’re pleased to be bringing the Suzuki RIB Experience back to the show.”
