Win a River Boat AM Safety 420 with a Suzuki Outboard Motor and Extreme Trailer for your Sailing Club

At the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show, your RYA-Affiliated Club could have the chance to win a brand-new Avon River Boat with a Suzuki outboard motor and Extreme trailer worth £9,850 (RRP). 

 

The competition to win a River Boat AM Safety 420, powered by a 20hp Suzuki Marine outboard engine with an Extreme trailer, runs until 6 February, and the five finalists will be contacted by 13 February. Representatives of the finalist club will be invited to the Show to take part in a final prize draw to choose the winner and collect this fantastic prize. 

 

Taking part in this competition couldn’t be easier.

The prize

Terms and conditions 

1.       The competition will run from 12 January 2026 to the 06 February 2026. Entries received after 23:45 on the closing date will not be entered into the competition. 

2.     The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over. 

3.     Only one entry per RYA-affiliated club is permitted. Multiple entries, or entries made by agents, third parties or on behalf of an entrant, will be deemed invalid.  

4.     To be eligible for entry, the individual entering must be a member of a RYA affiliated club or nominate an RYA-affiliated club to receive the prize. 

5.     An initial draw will take place on 9 February when 5 names will be selected at random.  

6.     The five people selected, together with the clubs nominated, will be notified by email (using the details provided upon entry), before 17:00 on Friday, 6 February 2026. 

7.     The five people selected, together with a representative of their nominated club or a nominated proxy over the age of 18 will be asked to attend the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show on Sunday 22 February 2026 (complimentary tickets will be provided)for the final draw on the Suzuki Marine stand.  (It is not compulsory to attend) 

8.     The prize may be collected by the winning club or their authorised proxy from the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show and towed away following the end of the Show on Sunday 26^th February, or on an alternative date and location by mutual agreement arranged after  the show. 

9.     This prize draw decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.  

10.   The competition is being promoted by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), whose registered office is at RYA House, Ensign Way, Hamble, Hants, SO31 4YA. Prize package is provided courtesy of Suzuki Marine, Avon Marina (River Boats UK) and Extreme Trailers. 

11.     The winning club permits their name and image to be used in any publicity material in connection with the competition by the RYA and competition partners Suzuki Marine, Avon Marina (River Boats UK) and Extreme Trailers. 

12.    Any personal information supplied will be used for the purposes of administering this prize draw and for no other purpose. The legal basis shall be a contract. Any personal information will be stored in accordance with the RYA Privacy Policy. 

13.   The competition is not open to employees of the Royal Yachting Association, their families, or any party engaged by the RYA. 

14.   The RYA reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. No cash alternatives are available.  

15.   The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English Law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. 

 

The RYA reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
